The Iphone X was supposed to be a major flagship killer and it really is from the looks of it. But apple fans are rather unhappy about the new change and expected more.
True, iPhone X's bold new design feels awesome (hands-on) and the camera's will definitely be amazing. But that lack of a fingerprint sensor, "Touch-ID" was a key feature and the true definition of security. Now with a 3D scanner, it's hard for fans to check out Apple's anniversary edition of the phone.
It's price is just crazy and amazing for Apple. Is that $1000 tag worth your money or just a let down? It's your choice that counts, if you're a die-hard Apple fan and just love every aspect of the Iphone X, you can go for it.
I think it's a great phone but the price tag is unsure.
Display-wise, the Apple Iphone X opted for an OLED display which they are now calling the "Super Retina". The bright colors really pop out and brightness is off the charts and this is the very first Apple device to integrate such an OLED panel.
The cameras really are amazing specially when it comes to the Portrait Mode. Apple does the best job in achieving blurs on the background.
Face ID is a much complicated process than one would think unlike facial scanners. It includes a bunch of different scanning processes and then only let you unlock the phone.
Finally the Iphone X features a wireless charging module built in and up for use along with the purchase of an AirPower mat.

The key differences are:
Iphone 8 and Plus kept the home button and are cheaper in comparison. Comes in Black, Gold and Silver color variants
The bigger and badder Iphone X has no home button, a larger screen, Portrait mode on both rear and front cameras and Optical Image Stabilization on the back camera. Comes with only Black and Silver variants.
